I spent a good chunk of my life behind the glass at EMI Music Publishing Studios in London. As Chief Engineer and Studio Manager, I was lucky enough to work alongside some of the biggest writers and producers in the world. It was fast, it was loud, and it taught me everything I know about what makes a track actually work on a global scale.

But eventually, the pace of the city lost its shine. I realized that the best music doesn't necessarily come from the most expensive postcode—it comes from having the space to breathe and the right environment to create. So, I packed up the ears (and a fair bit of gear) and moved to Braunton
